- From the time I stepped out of my old car to the time I made it to the stairs, I was met with a smile. Mae is the best! She assisted me with the purchase of my new Honda 2012 right off the show room floor. Her knowledge of the cars was right on point she let me test drive and gave me time with each car I loved up until my final decision. Mae also worked with me in getting the best insurance and boy oh boy did I get a great rate! I was concerned about a few things when I walked in but when I sat with Mae my concerns were no longer an issue. She is really the best at what she does :) Then I met Brandi, she came over very pleasantly took me to my new car and showed me all the features, programmed my favorite radio stations and helped me get my things out of my old car. She is great and I was so excited when she called me a few days later to make sure I was loving my new ride. I just want to let everyone know I am so happy that I went to White Plains Honda because I was treated great and left smiling with my brand new 2012 Honda Accord. What do you think of the 2012 CR-V?
The new vehicle will be the fourth generation of the CR-V, which entered the U.S. market for the 1997 model year and has essentially defined the small-SUV segment ever since. The 2012 model has a more aggressive look compared with past CR-Vs and represents a bolder styling language the company plans to increasingly adopt.
“The 2012 CR-V concept strongly hints at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda. The new SUV will come with a more fuel-efficient engine and lower weight. Inside the new vehicle will be more spacious than previous versions.
The new CR-V will make its official debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November and is set to go on sale in the United States by the end of the year.

Honda is calling him "Million Mile Joe." And even though we know calling attention to his achievement is a huge plug for Honda, AOL Autos is always happy to spotlight those careful, conscientious souls who stiff to put at least a million miles on a vehicle that most people would trade in after 150,000 at the most.
Joe LoCicero, from the cold climes of Norway, Maine, a place where summer pretty much happens on a Wednesday in July before turning to Autumn, is approaching one million miles this month on his 1990 Honda Accord. Honda Fit EV Concept Car Breaks Cover in Germany!
EV Concept has 100-mile driving range
At the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, Honda unveiled the new Fit EV concept car. The new concept is a zero emissions vehicle that is powered completely by electricity. The Fit EV concept sounds a lot like the Nissan Leaf when you start looking at the specifics. The EV will be powered by a lithium-ion battery pack and a coaxial electric motor. The concept has a 100-mile driving range and has top speed of 90 mph. The concept car has a five-seat arrangement and it uses a 3-mode electric drive system that is adapted from the Honda CR-Z hybrid. The car has a information center that allows the owner to connect other car via a smartphone and check on charge state, start charging, and activate the AC system before they get into the car. The app also allows the owner to optimize charging for when the utility rates are at their lowest point.
A full charge on the battery will take under 12 hours with a normal 120V outlet. When plugged into a 240V outlet the charging can be finished in less than six hours.
The concept has a 100-mile driving range and is expected to hit the streets in 2012.

Cleaner, greener 2012 Honda Insight
Very practical, gentlemen.
There have also been detail updates in the cabin - but the big news is under the bonnet, where the 1339cc petrol engine and constantly variable transmission have been revised to reduce internal friction, and the aircon compressor updated with a new cold storage system.
It doesn't sound like a lot but that, together with the improved aerodynamics, has reduced CO2 emissions from the previous model's 108 grams per kilometre to a claimed 96, a 12.5 percent improvement.
The engine mapping has also been revised for smoother power delivery and the suspension tweaked for a more comfortable ride without compromising stability.
All of which goes to show that saving the world isn't about grand gestures - it's about constant, unrelenting, unglamorous attention to detail.
Nice one, Honda. Respect.
